Rachael Eckles, J.D. '09, at Work on Third Novel
06/21/2023
Rachael Eckles, J.D. ’09, is at work on her third novel in her “Trading Secrets” series. The first was published in 2020, with the follow-up, “Risky Assets,” hitting shelves in summer 2022.
Eckles moved to New York City after law school where she worked in the finance industry and found the inspiration for her Wall Street thrillers that have been described as a cross between Showtime’s “Billions” and Netflix’s “Revenge.” She currently lives in Manhattan, where she is senior director for U.S. policy and government affairs at Bristol Myers Squibb by day and novelist by night.
Eckles donates much of the proceeds of her novels to The Village Experience, an Indiana-based 501(c)(3) that provides programs to benefit women and girls in Kenya, India, and Guatemala. She serves on the board of directors of the organization.
