Professor Desnoyer Publishes Op-Ed on Threat of Book Banning

Professor Brad Desnoyer wrote an op-ed for the Indianapolis Star that addresses the recent uptick in book banning. The piece was published in October 2023. (Subscription required.)
Professor Desnoyer wrote about the new Indiana law on the subject and referenced many United States Supreme Court decisions on the topic.
Professor Desnoyer is a clinical professor of law at IU McKinney. He joined the faculty in 2018 and teaches Legal Communication and Analysis I and II and Education Law. He is a past recipient of the Association of Legal Writing Directors' Teaching Grant for his innovative pedagogy. In addition, he serves as a lead editor for Legal Communication & Rhetoric: JAWLD.
