Professor Brad Desnoyer Presents at University of Tennessee College of Law

IU McKinney Professor Brad Desnoyer traveled to the University of Tennessee College of Law where he spent November 2 and 3 as a distinguished speaker. During that time, Professor Desnoyer presented to the law faculty and to members of the 1L class.
Both of Professor Desnoyer’s presentations focused on his research on the subject of e-memos, which culminated in his 2021 article in Legal Writing: Journal of the Legal Writing Institute, titled “E-Memos 2.0: An Empirical Analysis of How Attorneys Write.” He received the 2022 Emerging Scholar Award from the Legal Writing Institute in 2022 for this article.
Professor Desnoyer is a clinical professor of law and Dean’s Fellow at IU McKinney, where he also is currently serving as the interim director of the law school’s Academic and Bar Success program. He joined the faculty in 2018 and teaches Legal Communication and Analysis I and II and Education Law. He is a past recipient of the Association of Legal Writing Directors' Teaching Grant for his innovative pedagogy. In addition, he serves as a lead editor for Legal Communication & Rhetoric: JAWLD.
