ey students from around the world gathered on November 16 with faculty, staff, and administrators from the school for a Thanksgiving Feast in Inlow Hall. The event, which has become an annual celebration, featured traditional American holiday cuisine such as turkey, stuffing, and, of course, pumpkin pie.
The event was organized and hosted by the
Office of Graduate Programs team of Anne McGee, Associate Director and Academic Advisor of Graduate Programs, and Elise Seidel, Admissions Credentials Representative for the LL.M., S.J.D., and M.J. programs. Associate Dean for Graduate and International Programs, Tom Wilson, welcomed everyone to the feast.
“The annual Thanksgiving celebration for our international students is always a highlight of the fall semester, as it allows our international students to experience an American tradition, to celebrate with their peers, and to mingle with professors and deans,” said Dean Wilson. “This year the event had a large number of LL.M. students attending as well as deans, faculty, and a great friend of our program, Justice Steve David.”
In addition, Dean Karen E. Bravo and Vice Dean Cynthia Adams dined with students, as did former Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven H. David, J.D. ’82, and Professor Nicholas Georgakopoulos.
