12/21/2023
IU McKinney Professor Nicolas Terry is one of the public health law experts creating a new, transformational model for U.S. drug policy. A story highlighting this work has been published in The Indiana Lawyer.
The project has been undertaken with support from the Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE), public health law experts from IU McKinney and the Temple University Center for Public Health Law Research at the Beasley School of Law.
The experts present 84 opportunities for U.S. drug policy reform at the federal, state, and local levels, using a “whole-of-government” approach that seeks to establish vertical and horizontal alignment of agencies, departments, administrations, practitioners, and others.
Professor Terry is the Hall Render Professor of Law and executive director of the Hall Center for Law and Health at IU McKinney.
