Prosecutor Mears talked about the critical topic of how race intersects with the criminal justice system, drawing from history, current realities, and his vision for a future where justice is administered equitably, irrespective of race. The lecture took place February 16. The course, Race and the Law, is dedicated to exploring the complex ways race impacts legal systems and influences legal practices.
