IU McKinney Student Group Host Hot Topics in Crypto Event

The Law & Information Technology and the Business Law Association student groups at IU McKinney recently hosted the event, “Hot Topics in Crypto.” Among the featured speakers were IU McKinney professors Frank Emmert and Frank Sullivan, Jr.
Also among the speakers were attorney Thomas Lyons, III, of Barnes & Thornburg; and Indiana Chief Deputy Securities Commissioner Aaron Rodebeck. Professor Emmert discussed “Crypto & the SEC,” and Professor Sullivan spoke about “UCC Crypto Amendments.” The event took place March 20 in classroom 259 at Inlow Hall.
Rodebeck will present during the upcoming Center for International and Comparative Law event: “What’s Going on with Blockchain Technology and Digital Currencies.” Professor Emmert will serve as a moderator during the program on April 12 at the law school. Registration is limited to 45 people.
