06/11/2024
Ralph Durrett Jr., J.D. ’22, has been named the inaugural chief violence prevention officer for Indianapolis. The role is part of the city’s Office of Public Health and Safety. A story about the new position appeared on news station WTHR.
"There's so many people doing great work right now, and I just want to engage them as much as I possibly can and help them out, but the kids need representation. They want to see somebody that looks like them in these positions," Durrett said in the story. He said his goal is to meet youth where they are.
