Professor Tarkington Presents at ABA Center for Professional Responsibility Conference

IU McKinney Professor Margaret Tarkington presented her scholarship at the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility conference. Professor Tarkington took part in the panel titled, “Watergate and Legal Ethics: 50 Years On.” The event took place in Denver May 31.
Professor Tarkington’s presentation had to do with the lawyers who crafted and implemented the false elector scheme and are the co-conspirators in the federal indictment against former President Donald Trump. Her presentation was based upon her article, “Lawyers and the Abuse of Government Power.” A half-length version of the piece is forthcoming in the Michigan Journal of Law Reform.
