IU McKinney Alumni Headline CLE Event to Fund Scholarships

The Annual Indiana Law Survey takes place September 12 and 13. While offering high-quality continuing legal education for over a decade, the event has raised more than $424,000 in scholarship dollars for IU McKinney students.
Program chairs for the in-person and online event are Indiana Supreme Court Justice Mark Massa, J.D. '89; and Indiana Court of Appeals Judge Leanna Weissmann, J.D. '94.
Other alumni and members of the IU McKinney Law family who will present during the program include:
- John Trimble, J.D. ’81, of Lewis Wagner, who will talk about insurance
- Professor Frank Sullivan will talk about business, contracts, and banking
- Paula J. Schaefer, J.D. '94, of Rupert & Schaefer, will present on family law
- John M. Hauber, J.D. '93, of the Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee, will present on bankruptcy and commercial law
- Mark Schublak, J.D. '00, of Taft Stettinius & Hollister, will provide a legislative update
- John M. McLaughlin, J.D. '09, of Parr Richey Obremskey Frandsen, will talk about torts
- James Bell, J.D. '99, of Hoover Hull Turner, will present on ethics
The event is sponsored by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, Indiana State Bar Association, and the IU McKinney Alumni Association. Attendees will earn 12 hours of CLE, including 2 hours of ethics. Learn more and register at the IU McKinney website.
