09/11/2024
IU McKinney has received a grade of A- in the area of human rights law from preLaw magazine. The news was publicized in its back-to-school issue.
IU McKinney is home to the Health and Human Rights Clinic, under the direction of Professor Fran Quigley, J.D. ’87. Clinic students engage in domestic and international human rights advocacy and litigation, usually concerning the social determinants of health. Students directly represent, under faculty supervision, low-income clients from the community and engage in advocacy in the form of trial court litigation, administrative hearings, appellate briefs, investigations and reports, and public education.
