MacAna Gilkerson, J.D. ’24, is a guest on Indiana Lawyer’s podcast, where she talks about being one of the founding members of the AccessABILITY Student Union at IU McKinney. Gilkerson was honored for this work with an Indiana Lawyer Diversity in Law award. Her interview begins at the 13:30 mark in the podcast. She talks about how she got the idea to form the student group the summer before her 3L year and working with IU McKinney administration to launch the organization. Gilkerson is working as a legal intern at the Freeman Law Office in Indianapolis.
