Professor Katz Publishes Article in Special Issue of ABA Human Rights Magazine
01/13/2025
IU McKinney Professor Robert Katz published an article titled “How Antisemitism Infects the Law” in a special issue of the American Bar Association’s Human Rights Magazine. The piece appears in the December 2024 issue. Professor Katz examines three instances in his research where he says antisemitism infected the intellectual work of otherwise intelligent and well-meaning lawyers.
Professor Katz is writing Antisemitism and the Law, the first casebook on the subject, to be published by Carolina Academic Press. He will teach a course on antisemitism and the law using the casebook at McKinney in fall 2025. He is a member of the ABA Presidential Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, a senior research fellow for the Anti-Defamation League’s Center for Antisemitism Research, and director of the Center for the Study of Law and Antisemitism, a nonprofit organization he founded to promote research and education at the intersection of law and antisemitism.
