IU McKinney Alumni Named to State Bar Leadership Academy for 2025

Of the 24 Indiana lawyers accepted to the 2025 class of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy (LDA), 15 are graduates of the IU McKinney School of Law. Professor Frank Sullivan hosted the group at a reception at his home, where Indiana Supreme Court Justice Mark Massa, J.D. ’89, spoke to the new LDA class.
LDA prepares Indiana’s next generation of legal leaders, creating a cohort of informed, committed, and involved legal professionals who serve as role models in matters of ethics, community involvement, and professionalism.
The class members will participate in five multi-day professional development sessions held across the state. These sessions, facilitated by prominent individuals from the legal community, will help individuals identify their unique skillsets, develop a plan for how they can leave their personal impact on the world, and build a network to support them along the way.
