Gary Roberts took over as dean of the IU School of Law - Indianapolis on July 1, 2007. Roberts, who was Vice Dean of the Tulane Law School from 1990-1995, becoming Deputy Dean in 2001, visited IU on several occasions during the spring semester to prepare for the transition. He says he has been overwhelmed by the hospitality of the law school community since his arrival. "The opportunity to lead and be the steward of this wonderful law school is a tremendous professional and personal honor for me." Roberts is planning to visit alumni groups around the state in the coming months, including visits to Muncie on September 20, Terre Haute and Evansville on October 4, and Ft.
