Professor Dan Cole's book Pollution and Property: Comparing Ownership Institutions for Environmental Protection (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2002) was recently translated into Chinese for Cambridge University Press and Peking University Press.  The Chinese translators were Yan Houfu (Bejing University School of Law Ph.D. Candidate 2006) and Wang Shenkun (Juris Doctor, currently research post doctorate in Qinghua University School of Law). 

Professor Cole is the R. Bruce Townsend Professor of Law at Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis and a member of the Affiliated Faculty of the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis at IU-Bloomington. He teaches and writes in the areas of Property, Natural Resources Law, Land Use, Environmental Protection, and Law & Economics. He has also written extensively about Poland and Polish law.
