Associate Dean Bravo to Present Faculty Book Talk at IU McKinney on December 3

Associate Dean Karen Bravo will present the final lecture in the Faculty Book Talk series for the Fall 2015 semester on when she discusses “The Business and Human Rights Landscape” on December 3.
Dean Bravo is a co-editor of the work with Professor Jena Martin of West Virginia University College of Law, who will also speak during the lecture. The book offers analysis of changes made by the 2011 adoption of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The new principles are the first global standards for preventing human rights abuses by businesses. It was published by Cambridge University Press.
Dean Bravo is a Dean’s Fellow and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and International Affairs at IU McKinney. She is a well-known international law scholar, and an expert in the study of human trafficking.
The event carries with it 1.0 hour of CLE (pending approval) with a registration via the law school’s website. The lecture begins at 5 p.m., and will be held in the Wynne Courtroom at Inlow Hall.
