Dean Bravo Invited to Speak at International Association of Defense Counsel Meeting

Dean Karen Bravo was an invited speaker at the 2016 Midyear Meeting of the International Association of Defense Counsel in Pebble Beach, California. Professor Bravo discussed “Human Trafficking in the 21st Century: Conceptual Frameworks and Responses.”
The IADC serves corporate and insurance defense attorneys and insurance executives. Founded in 1920, its activities benefit the approximately 2,500 invitation-only, peer reviewed members and their clients, as well as the civil justice system and the legal profession.
Dean Bravo’s participation and speech were sponsored by the IADC’s Diversity Committee, and was eligible for CLE credit in all 50 U.S. jurisdictions.
Dean Bravo is a Dean’s Fellow and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and International Affairs at IU McKinney. She is a well-known international law scholar, and an expert in the study of human trafficking.
