Professor Wilson Presents at Renmin University Conference

Professor Tom Wilson was one of three speakers at the Conference on Comparative Law Studying and Teaching Methodology at Renmin University of China Law School. The event took place on May 29.
Professor Wilson’s topic was “Late Night Thoughts on Teaching and Studying Methodology in Study Abroad Programs.” He is the director of the IU McKinney Joint Center for Asian Law Studies, and the Chinese Law Summer Program.
The event was organized by Professor Xiangshun Ding, LL.M. ’06, director of the Department of Comparative Law and Trilateral Cooperation Studies Center at Renmin, and designated professor at Nagoya University in Japan.
Professor Wilson’s lecture came during the 30th anniversary of the Chinese Law Summer Program. During the program, participants take courses on Chinese domestic law, take law-related field trips, as well as cultural field trips. 2016 marks the 19th year in which the program has been hosted at Renmin University of China School of Law, which is ranked as the number one law school in China.
