10/19/2016
Professor Tom Wilson traveled to the University of Bergen in Bergen, Norway during IU McKinney’s fall break for meetings concerning the 2017 Chinese Law Summer Program. During Fall 2015, the University of Bergen Faculty of Law became the program’s fifth formal affiliate and the first international one. The other affiliates are Boston College Law School, University of Minnesota Law School, University of Oklahoma College of Law, and University of Tennessee College of Law.
A total of 10 students from Bergen completed the Summer 2016 program, and a larger number is expected for the 2017 program. This photo was taken at a presentation Professor Wilson made on October 13 to approximately 60 Bergen students. From left are Professor Wilson, Associate Professor and Vice Dean for Education Bjørnar Borvik, and Professor Jørn Øyrehagen Sunde, both of the University of Bergen Faculty of Law.
Each summer students from across the United States and from several foreign countries join Professor Wilson, who is director of the Chinese Law Summer Program, for two to four weeks of course work, academic events, and cultural activities in China’s capital city.
