IU McKinney Faculty Attend Opening of Norwegian China Law Centre

Professor Tom Wilson was one of the speakers during an event to mark the opening of the Norwegian China Law Centre at the University of Bergen. The event took place May 4, and was attended by Dean Andrew R. Klein, and former Renmin University of China Law School Dean Han Dayuan, who is a longtime friend of IU McKinney.
Professor Wilson spoke on the topic “The Chinese Law Summer Program – a stepping-stone for enhanced understanding of legal cultures and for comprehensive academic cooperation.” The University of Bergen is a partner in the Chinese Law Summer Program (CLSP), which takes place annually at Renmin. Professor Wilson is the CLSP Director at IU McKinney.
The following day, the University of Bergen bestowed an honorary doctorate upon Dean Han and four other dignitaries. Dean Han delivered remarks on behalf of all of the honorees.
