Dean Bravo Presents on Human Trafficking at University College London

Professor Karen Bravo presented during a June 7 event at University College London titled “Victims of Human Trafficking: A Multidisciplinary Problemization of a Category.” Her topic, “Contemporary State Anti-‘Slavery’ Efforts: Dishonest and Ineffective,” was presented during a session that focused on victims “as slaves.”
The event examined human trafficking by bringing together experts who approach it from different academic disciplines and from the point of view of service providers and international organizations.
Professor Bravo is a well-known international law scholar, and an expert in the study of human trafficking. She is the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and International Affairs at IU McKinney.
