Professor Han Moderates Panel Discussion on Rule of Law in Asia

Professor Han Dayuan, former Dean of Renmin University of China Law School and a Visiting Professor at IU McKinney during the Fall 2017 semester, moderated a panel with the topic of “Dialogue on the Rule of Law in Asia.” The discussion took place in Room 389 at Inlow Hall on October 17.
Panelists were Professor Li Xiaoming of Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Law, who was a Visiting Professor at IU McKinney during Fall 2017. She discussed the rule of law in China. Professor S. Mostafa Mirmohammadi, who is Director of the Center for Comparative Law Studies at Mofid University and a Visiting Scholar at IU McKinney, discussed the rule of law in Iran. And Perfecto ‘Boyet’ Caparas, LL.M., ’05, Associate Director of Graduate Programs at IU McKinney and an S.J.D. candidate at IU McKinney, talked about the rule of law in the Philippines.
