Professor Dutton Judges ICC Moot Court Competition at The Hague

Professor Yvonne Dutton traveled to The Netherlands where she was a judge in the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition. She judged the quarter finals and the semi-finals on May 31.
A total of 65 teams from more than 40 countries took part in the competition at The Hague, May 27 through June 1. The winner of the 2018 event was Singapore Management University, with first runner-up going to West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, and second runner-up going to The Honorable Society of King's Inns.
Professor Dutton is the author of Rules, Politics, and the International Criminal Court: Committing to the Court, published by Routledge Press in 2013. She is a Dean’s Fellow and a Grimes Fellow who teaches comparative law, international law, international criminal law, evidence, criminal law, and criminal procedure at IU McKinney. She was elected Midwest Vice Chair of the American Society of International Law in April 2017.
