Visiting Scholars Give Presentations at IU McKinney

Three Visiting Scholars delivered presentations about the research they have conducted during their time at IU McKinney School of Law. Zhang Xiaohao, Shen Tingting, and Yang Chi-hung, LL.M. '05, discussed their recent scholarship in the Inlow Hall Faculty Lounge in an event that took place on April 18.
Professor Zhang Xiaohao, from Xi ‘an International Studies University in Xi ‘an, China, spoke about “China’s Guiding Case Systems at Fifteen Years.” Professor Shen Tingting, from Tianjin Normal University in Tianjin, China, discussed “Party Autonomy and the Chinese International Commercial Court.” Professor Yang Chi-hung, from Tamkang University in New Taipei City, Taiwan, talked about “The Corporate Governance of Closely Held Companies in Taiwan.” The visits of Professors Zhang and Yang are sponsored by the Joint Center for Asian Law Studies, which is directed by Professor Tom Wilson. The visit of Professor Shen is sponsored by the Center for International and Comparative Law, which is directed by Professor Frank Emmert. In the photo from left are Yang, Shen, and Zhang.
