The Hall Center for Law and Health at IU McKinney School of Law has selected Joel Benson as the 2019 Hall Render Outstanding Health Law Student.
Benson is graduating in May with a joint J.D./Masters in Health Administration degree. As a law student, he served as executive online editor of the Indiana Law Review, Vol. 51.
“I am truly honored to have been selected for this award and am grateful to the attorneys at Hall Render for their continued generosity and commitment to developing future leaders in health law and policy.“
After graduation, Benson will join Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP as an associate.
“Health care is a complex industry governed under an exceptional body of law. The Hall Center for Law and Health has provided unique professional and academic opportunities, along with an interdisciplinary network of talented students and professionals,” Benson said. “While I am excited to join the ranks of our many graduates in the Indiana health law community, I am most excited about joining Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP and putting into daily practice the knowledge and skills I have acquired in this program.”
