IU McKinney Welcomes Visiting Scholars Wang Xinyuan and Liu Dongwei

The Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law welcomes Visiting Scholars Wang Xinyuan and Liu Dongwei.
Wang is from the China Agricultural University Department of Law, where she is a graduate student. Her area of research is economic law, especially the feasibility of equalizing land development rights through taxation. Her studies are supervised by CAU Professor Weng Yijie, who was a Visiting Scholar at IU McKinney from Spring 2013 to Spring 2014. Wang will be with us for three months.
Liu also is from the China Agricultural University Department of Law, where she is a graduate student. Her area of research is economic law, especially food safety law and the regulatory and liability systems for third-party online trading platforms. Liu's studies are supervised by CAU Professor Zhou Chao, who was a Visiting Scholar at IU McKinney from Fall 2014 to Fall 2015. She also will be with us for three months.
In the photo from left are Liu Dongwei, Professor Tom Wilson, and Wang Xinyuan. Professor Wilson is the Director of the Joint Center for Asian Law Studies, which has hosted of 43 Visiting Scholars since 2009.
