Pervin Taleyarkhan, ’13, has been named among the newest trustees for the Foundation for Advancement of Diversity in IP Law. The organization provides financial support to underrepresented law students who are interested in pursuing a career in IP law.
The foundation’s principal scholarship program began in 2002 and has awarded over $2.5 million in scholarship to more than 140 law students. “I am looking forward to playing an integral role in supporting the foundation’s efforts to foster the goals of individuals from underrepresented ethnic and racial groups who are interested in IP law,” Taleyarkhan said.
Taleyarkhan serves as the director for the Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation’s clinic, which operates under the auspices of the USPTO’s Law School Clinic Certification Program. She is an in-house IP Legal Counsel at Whirlpool Corporation.
