Professor Terry Featured in ABA Panel on Privacy After Dobbs Decision
05/15/2023
IU McKinney Law Professor Nicolas Terry is a panelist for an American Bar Association webinar, "Zero Privacy Post-Dobbs? How the Threat Landscape Has Changed," on May 15 at 1 p.m.
The ABA webinar is part of a series on “Privacy in an Age of Zero Trust,” co-sponsored by the ABA Science & Technology Law Section and the ABA Young Lawyers Division. Participants can register online.
The U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision cast doubt on long-established privacy rights. Meanwhile, technological advances raise questions for businesses and the lawyers who advise them. The panel “will address the current landscape of threats to private data and communications, including what communications and data are at risk and what impact those threats could have, and look ahead to emerging threats to privacy post-Dobbs,” according to the ABA announcement of the webinar.
Professor Terry is Executive Director of the Hall Center for Law and Health at IU McKinney, where he teaches healthcare and health policy courses. He is one of the permanent bloggers at the Bill of Health blog, a host of “The Week in Health Law” podcast at TWIHL.com, and @nicolasterry on twitter.
