John Trimble to Receive Luminary Award

John Trimble, J.D. ’81, has been chosen as the recipient of the Luminary Award, presented by the Indianapolis Bar Foundation and the Indianapolis Bar Association. Trimble is the 21st individual to receive the honor since its inception in 1990.
Trimble, a partner at Lewis Wagner, is being honored for his positive influence on the legal community, contributions to the association, and his extended and significant service to the legal profession.
Trimble is consistently recognized in Indiana Super Lawyers, with a top ranking from 2011-2021. He was named Defense Lawyer of the Year and received the Louis B. Potter Lifetime Professional Service Award from DRI in 2021. He was also honored in the Indianapolis Business Journal’s inaugural Indiana 250 list in 2022. He has served as president of the Indianapolis Bar Association, and as chair of the Board of Visitors at IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
The Luminary Award will be presented during the IndyBar’s recognition breakfast on Wednesday, November 20, at 8 a.m. at Meridian Hills Country Club.
