Sarah Hurdle Shields Appointed Magistrate in Hamilton Superior Courts

Sarah Hurdle Shields, J.D. ‘16, has been appointed as a magistrate in Hamilton Superior Courts 1 and 2. Her appointment began July 1.
Prior to this role, Shields served as staff attorney to Hamilton Superior Courts 4, 5, 6, and 7. Previously, she worked as an attorney at Terry & Gookins, Kightlinger & Gray, and as a deputy attorney general for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to Marion Superior Court Judges Heather Welch and Timothy Oakes, and Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven H. David, J.D. ’82.
