Topic: The Health Law Practice in Nigeria
This topic gives insight into the health law practice in Nigeria, laws governing such practice (whether functional or dysfunctional), as well as the roles of the health practitioners and the issue of confidentiality in the health system.
Bio: Adaugo Sandra Nwachukwu is a lawyer in Nigeria. She worked with Amazon Energy Limited as its legal officer dealing with engineering, oil gas and commercial law. Sandra served as a legal intern at Indiana Legal Services Inc., in Indianapolis.

Bio: Febuk Uya is a lawyer in Nigeria with over 6 years of experience as legal counsel, leading teams focusing on corporate commercial, regulatory compliance, company formation and due diligence, commercial real estate, and foreign direct investment matters. Febuk currently serves as a corporate counsel extern at Cummins Inc., Indianapolis.

This topic will cover Ecuador’s legal and cultural history and how laws have evolved; the impact of Ecuador’s Constitution of 2008, and the arguments brought by constituents which would contradict the implementation of same sex marriage. Opinions from international courts, such as the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, will be examined.
Bio: Joyce Almeida Ponce is an attorney in Ecuador, where she graduated from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil. She interned with the law firm IBELEX and dealt with constitutional, criminal, and family law issues. She worked for the legal division of the Fire Department of Guayaquil, focusing on public and administrative law and litigation.

Topic: Essential Differences between the Venezuelan Legal System and the American Legal System
In this presentation, the essential differences between the Venezuelan legal system and the American legal system will be tackled. Certain features of the functioning of the bodies and entities that exercise the public power in Venezuela will be analyzed, along with the activity carried out by judges in the exercise of the power to decide cases and issue judgments, and the impact of both activities on society.
Bio: Jose is a Venezuelan lawyer who graduated from Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela where he also completed postgraduate studies in administrative law. Jose conducted specialized studies in fiscal control and state auditing. Since 2017, he has been working as a consultant at the law firm Culwell Legal LLC, in Fishers, Indiana.
