Professor Orentlicher on No Limits, Speaking on Patient Advocacy

Professor David Orentlicher is a guest on the 90.1FM WFYI radio program No Limits on November 18 at 1 p.m.
The topic of the program is patient advocacy. Professor Orentlicher is on the show with physician and author Dr. Betty Tonsig, who wrote “Stand in the Way!: Patient Advocates Speak Out.” She wrote the book after the death of her husband, who underwent a knee replacement surgery that resulted in his death after complications arose. The book outlines when and how to advocate on behalf of a patient.
Professor Orentlicher is Samuel R. Rosen Professor at IU McKinney. A scholar of constitutional law, and co-director of the Hall Center for Law and Health, he also has taught at Princeton University and the University of Chicago Law School. He earned degrees in law and medicine at Harvard and specializes as well in health care law and ethics.
