IU McKinney to Host Justice of Thailand Supreme Court on March 25

The Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law will host Justice Auen Kunkeaw of the Supreme Court of Thailand on March 25 as part of the Center for Intellectual Property and Innovation Distinguished Lecture Series.
Justice Auen’s topic will be “Intellectual Property, Bankruptcy and the Thai Judiciary System.” He has an extensive background in this area of law. Justice Auen has authored several well-known books in Thailand, including Bankruptcy Law Handbook (12th Ed.), Reorganization Law Handbook (9th Ed.), Civil Execution Handbook (3rd Ed.) and Partnership and Company Law (2nd Ed.).
Justice Auen is a member in the Government Law Modification Committee on Business Enterprise, a member of the Committee of Drafting Judicial Practice in Bankruptcy Procedure, and a member of the Committee of Thai Bar Examination and Judge Examination. He also serves as law lecturer in Reorganization Law at the Institute of Legal Education Thai Bar Association and Thamasat University.
The lecture will begin at 5 p.m. March 25 in the Wynne Courtroom at Inlow Hall. The event carries with it 1.0 hour of CLE with a registration. The lecture is free and open to the public.
