Professor Nguyen Travels to China for Lectures

Professor Xuan-Thao Nguyen traveled to Shanghai, China, for several lectures in late November. The talks were presented at two universities there.
Professor Nguyen presented Research Wisdom during a workshop for the international financial law faculty at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law School of Law (SHUPL) on November 23.
She made the presentation Entertainment Law: From Copyrights, Trademarks, Rights of Publicity to Contracts, at Shanghai University School of Law on November 25.
She returned to SHUPL on November 27, where Professor Nguyen presented Terms of Use and Privatization of Justice in Social Media.
Professor Nguyen, who holds the Gerald L. Bepko Chair in Law, is the director of the IU McKinney Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation. She is an internationally recognized legal scholar, known for her expertise in the intersections of intellectual property, secured transactions, bankruptcy, licensing, and taxation.
