Professor Nehf Comments for WXIN on Party Organizer Lawsuit
08/18/2016
Professor Jim Nehf talked with Indianapolis television news station WXIN on the lawsuit brought by Karma International against the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over a party the organizer says the speedway didn’t sufficiently promote. The party was among many events leading up to the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 in May 2016. The story aired August 17.
“I’ve never seen anything quite like this,” Professor Nehf told the WXIN reporter. “Events succeed and fail all the time for a lot of reasons.” The agreement attached to the lawsuit could be seen as vague, he said.
Professor Nehf is a nationally recognized expert in consumer law privacy. He is a Cleon H. Foust Fellow and a John S. Grimes Fellow at IU McKinney.
