Professor Nehf to Present at Consumer Protection Conference in Brazil

Professor James Nehf will attend the “Consumer Protection and Economic Development” conference in Porto Alegre, Brazil, from July 16-19. The conference will take place at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. The event is sponsored by the International Association of Consumer Law (IACL), an organization of consumer law scholars from around the world.
Professor Nehf serves on the IACL executive board. He will take part in a panel discussion of the topic “Future: Consumers at the Digital World.”
Professor Nehf is the Cleon H. Foust Fellow and a John S. Grimes Fellow at IU McKinney. He has been teaching contracts, consumer law, and commercial law subjects for more than 20 years, and is an internationally recognized expert in consumer privacy and financial services law. He serves as an executive board member of the International Consumer Law Association, a global society of consumer law scholars and policy makers.
