05/01/2020
Three alumnae of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law have been named to the 30th class of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series. They are Cynthia Carrasco, ’06; Erika Steuerwald, ’16; and Noelle Sykes, ’12.
Carrasco is the deputy general counsel in the Office of the Governor, Sykes is chief counsel for the Indiana House Republican Caucus, and Steuerwald works in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General in the Medical Licensing Division.
Inspired by the late Indiana Senator Richard G. Lugar, the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series was established in 1990 as a not-for-profit women’s leadership development program designed to increase the preparation, influence and number of Republican women in local, state and national elective and appointive offices.
