Professor Terry Comments for Indianapolis Television News on Privacy Concerns
02/23/2016
The use of security cameras may have some people feeling less secure with good reason. Unsecured or poorly protected computer cameras or security cameras linked to the web have been found and posted to websites for all to see, said Professor Nicolas Terry. He gave the interview to Indianapolis-based WRTV Channel 6 on February 18.
The story quotes security experts who recommend changing the default passwords on such systems to something more secure. But Professor Terry recommends consumers think twice about plugging security cameras into the internet in the first place.
